Privacy Policy

A plain-language explanation of the small amount of information handled by Pathfold Atlas.

Section 01

Scope

Pathfold Atlas is an offline educational and planning app. This policy explains the limited information handled by the installed app and its public support site.

Section 02

No account or login

The app does not require an account, registration, password, profile, or sign-in.

Section 03

Local preferences

Optional display preferences such as larger text, contrast, and reduced motion are stored locally on the device so the interface can remember the choice.

Section 04

No network access

The Android app is designed to work without Internet access and does not request the Internet permission. It does not fetch a live directory, forecast, feed, or service status.

Section 05

No advertising or analytics

The app contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, tracking pixel, attribution system, behavioral profiling, or targeted advertising.

Section 06

No sensitive collection

The app does not ask for government identifiers, document numbers, dates of birth, precise location, contacts, health records, financial information, biometric data, or identity documents.

Section 07

No user submissions

There is no account-backed upload, public post, chat, comments, contact inbox, or remote form. Any temporary selection used to navigate the app is not transmitted.

Section 08

On-device storage

Preferences and ordinary Android app state remain in the app's private storage area. The app does not intentionally export this state to a server.

Section 09

Reset and deletion

The in-app reset control clears optional display preferences. Uninstalling the app removes its local private storage subject to the device operating system's backup and restore settings.

Section 10

Sharing

The app does not sell, rent, disclose, or share personal information with advertisers, data brokers, or social networks.

Section 11

Children and supervised use

The app is general educational content, not a child-directed social service. A parent, guardian, educator, or other authorized adult should supervise use by a minor and should not enter a minor's sensitive information.

Section 12

Third parties

The app uses standard Android and AndroidX libraries for its interface. No third-party service receives app usage data from the installed app.

Section 13

Security boundary

Local data is protected by the Android application sandbox. No software can promise absolute security, so keep the device and operating system updated and use a device lock.

Section 14

Retention

Because the app does not maintain a remote account or event log, it has no remote personal-data retention schedule. Local preferences remain until reset or uninstall.

Section 15

Support

For support or privacy questions, use the developer contact shown on the app's current Google Play listing. Do not send identity documents, full payment details, or sensitive health information.

Section 16

Policy changes

If the app's data behavior changes, this policy and the Play listing should be updated before the changed version is distributed.

Section 17

Educational boundaries

The app does not provide medical, legal, financial, emergency, professional food-safety, accessibility, academic-certification, or other individualized professional advice. Follow current local rules and qualified guidance.

Section 18

Effective contact and version

This policy applies to Pathfold Atlas version 1.0.0 (1). The publisher identified on the Google Play listing is responsible for the current contact route and any future policy update.
